JINRAY was founded on 25 May 2020 and it is expected to have accumulated investments exceeding 1 billion CNY by the end of March 2023.

Located in Lishui, known as the 'Green Valley of Zhejiang', the company covers an area of 10 hectares. It is one hour by high-speed train from Hangzhou and two hours from Shanghai.

In December 2022, JINRAY's production volume exceeded 160,000 wafers, with more than 70 customers.

December 2021,  the production volume reached 82,000 wafers.

In August 2021, the first batch of products has passed customer certification.

In March 2021, JINRAY's epitaxial wafer plant was topped out.
In November 2020
In November 2020, JINRAY received a strategic investment from the Lishui City Government.

In October 2020,  the construction began on-site.

In July 2020, JINRAY received the first round of strategic investment from MINDEO Electronics.
In May 2020
In May 2020, Zhejiang JINRAY Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. was established in Lishui.
